Katrina and I read it accurately but more slowly (ok Katrina needed help with phenomonal and Cambridge University--she's only in 2nd grade) the whole way through. Chloe who is in 4th grade read it much faster. But after 4 lines she walked away and saying, "it hurts my head". She has spent a rigorous 4 years making sense of phonics and spelling. She's about 1-2 years behind and making slow and steady progress. When she writes things, it often looks much like this paragraph.
