Cyclist Dan Buettner is working on a project funded in part by National Geographic Society in search of "Blue Zones" around the world. Blue Zones are pockets of populations where people live longest and enjoy the highest quality of life as they age. It is a fascinating study in contrasts and similarities.
Here's the website. It has an interesting Ven Diagram showing what characteristics of the different world Blue Zones are the same, and which ones are different.
Spock says, "Live long and prosper."
After watching the video about the Blue Zones, I decided my motto would be "Drink more red wine and hang out with good friends as much as possible.
