Gay Marriage Tipping Point

I think we are reaching it. Although the California Supreme Court is being accused of over-reach in its decision to overturn a constitutional amendment against gay marriage, the court is hardly left-wing; 6 of 7 judges are Republican appointees. And the latest poll indicates the state's voters are coming around to supporting gay marriage.

Meanwhile New York's governor David Paterson has ordered state agencies to begin rewriting policies so they comply with a state appeals court decision that said New York must recognize gay marriages performed in other jurisdictions like Canada and California.

Even Bill O'Reilly is running out of reasons to oppose gay marriage.
