In 1993 I moved with my family to Burnsville, MN to start a church. As a religious and political progressive it was an opportunity for me to create a spiritual community that reflected the values that are most important to me. Twenty-three years later I am still here. Now I have become a grandparent with three beautiful little ones. I have four great adult children (two of them are in-laws). I enjoy fly fishing, birding, playing oboe, gardening, hiking, hunting, and spending time with my wife. I care more than ever about climate change, care of the earth, glbt rights, and seeing Christianity fully embrace these critical this-worldly concerns.
