Thanks for sharing this on VOS. I sympathize totally with the nonbelieving pastors. I studied theology one year at the University of Marburg, Germany. One of the German theology students said, "So shall we stand in front of the church and announce, 'Dear Congregation, there is no Dear God'?" Another German student noticed how in Germany most clergy and churchgoers were non-supernatural, whereas in her year in America even most non-churchgoers WERE supernatural-minded believers. But even here in the U.S. the truths of evolution and historical criticism are starting to sink in. I ended up not becoming a pastor and so avoided the inner hypocrisy they mentioned, but I can thoroughly relate, as this has been going on for some time. Richard Moyer--Ephrata, PA
